2. Data we process
Depending on your use, we process account and profile information, technical connection data, uploaded receipts, detected retailers, items, categories and prices, manual corrections, and statistics and recommendations derived from them.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide and secure the app, deliver analysis features, resolve errors and – with consent – send product information. Relevant legal bases include Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent applies.
4. Optional AI training consent
Receipt data is used to improve AI recognition models only after your explicit, voluntary opt-in consent. The app remains usable without this consent. You can withdraw consent at any time in settings with future effect. We store consent status together with timestamp, source and policy/consent versions for accountability.
5. Receipts and automated analysis
Receipt images may be processed for text recognition and structuring. Detected information should remain correctable. The production policy will identify the actual OCR and AI providers before launch.
6. Recipients and hosting
We share data with technical service providers only where required for operation, hosting, security or receipt analysis. Providers, server locations and any international transfers will be documented once the production infrastructure is final.
7. Retention
We retain data only as long as required for its purpose, the contractual relationship or legal obligations. Specific periods for receipt images, accounts, logs and backups will be documented before launch.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
9. Product status
BonBert is still in development. Before real user data is processed publicly, this policy will be aligned with the final infrastructure, processors, cookies, analytics, newsletter and payment services.
